Safety House
Stabilisation & Cultural Safety
A culturally safe stabilisation space for AAEF participants and staff who need short-term support before entering the Life Skills Retreat. Safety House is strictly for AAEF-approved adults aged 18+.

Main Program — 12-Week Residential
A 12-week residential program focused on building confidence, routine, skills, and wellbeing. Participants live and learn together through daily rotations, cultural practice, and hands-on activities.

For graduates who demonstrate readiness and commitment, Business House provides micro-business development, financial literacy, cultural governance in enterprise, and self-employment pathways.

Safety House
Stabilisation & Cultural Safety
Safety House is the entry point into AAEF. It provides short-term stabilisation for AAEF participants, staff who require temporary safe accommodation, and approved incoming Life Skills Retreat participants who need stabilisation first.
Safety House is not a public emergency accommodation service. It is strictly for AAEF-approved adults aged 18+.

Stage 2
Life Skills Retreat
Main 12-Week Residential Program
The Life Skills Retreat is the heart of AAEF. This 12-week residential program provides Aboriginal adults aged 18+ with the stability, skills, confidence, and cultural grounding needed to rebuild their lives and move toward long-term independence.
Operates as a structured community of 17 participants, living and learning together through daily rotations, cultural practice, and hands-on activities.

Business House
Criteria-Based Enterprise Pathway
Business House is the advanced enterprise development stage of AAEF. It is strictly for graduates of the Life Skills Retreat who meet cultural, behavioural, and enterprise readiness criteria. This is where participants turn stability and skills into real economic independence.
Business House is not an open-access program. It is a selective, criteria-based pathway.
